The first time Ronit saw Elliot it was during a party in Washington DC. Ronit was relocated to Washington for her Embassy work and Elliot was living there and working in Real Estate. They met at a party of a mutual friend. Elliot was on the dancefloor dancing to a Michael Jackson tune and Ronit was captivated.
After a few months the two moved in together and the marriage proposal was not late to come. Elliot, a true romantic, asked Ronit’s parent’s for her hand before proposing and once he got their approval he produced a proposal right out of a romantic movie with dozens of friends that helped him stage the moment.
The two decided to tie the knot in Old Jaffa because of its “elegance, history and charm”. They choose the Caliph overlooking the Tel Aviv coastline and guests from all over the world arrived to this magical location.
Several years after they first met, in another part of the world, Elliot once again began dancing to a Michael Jackson tune while down the aisle his soon to be wife was dancing towards him. Under the Jaffa sky with a view to Tel Aviv’s skyline they said their I – Do’s in and the party began.
Ronit & Elliot integrated wonderful small touches to their big day like having their initials sewn on Elliot’s suit (a surprise he did for Ronit), sending out travel kits to all their international guests and handing out customized shawls and kippas at the event.
We love how Ronit and Elliot’s wedding combines elegance and classiness with tons of fun and humor. Take a look at these gorgeous pictures and see for yourself.
