When Shai-lee and Frank got engaged, they envisioned a small wedding close to their Tel Aviv home. After a friends recommended the rooftop of the French Institute on Rothschild boulevard, the two paid it a visit and knew that that is where they would say their vows. Since Frank is originally from Germany (he met Shai-lee during a student exchange program when doing his masters in design) the rooftop of the French Institute overlooking the skyline of the city, Jaffa and the beach, was a wonderful way to show Frank’s family and friends the urban view that Frank and Shai-lee love so much.
On the day of the wedding, the two walked with their dog from their home near Rothschild boulevard to the French Institute where 150 guests were waiting for them. The rooftop was decorated by Shai-lee’s cousin and sister and a private chef created a menu of cocktail delicacies. Mazal tov Shai-lee and Frank, truly a unique and inspiring wedding.
