It’s a beautiful day today, and to complement the warm January sun we’ve brought you Ofir and Imri’s wonderful backyard wedding that took place last summer. There are many reasons we love backyard weddings, and most of them you will find in today’s post. Ofir and Imri both live in Italy. They met during their army service and although Imri was just about to leave for his post army-trip, their connection was so strong that Imri decided to push back his travels and wait for Ofir so they can take their trip together. Afrer getting engaged, they decided to get married in the backyard of Ofir’s childhood home in Binyamina. They wanted an intimate wedding which would incorporate their love for life, Italy and good food. Ofir tells us that planning the wedding from afar wasn’t an easy task, but that with the help of their wonderful friends and family they were able to pull off the wedding of their dreams.
We love how each detail was planned perfectly. Ofir and Imri decided on an ‘Italian Market’ theme and used checkered tablecloths, wooden crates and herbs as centerpieces to create the look and feel that they wanted. For an extra touch, they used antique furniture belonging to the family as part of the decor. To top it all off, because they were concerned of making too much noise for the neighbors, after 11pm headsets were given out to the guests of the wedding and everyone danced to the same music that was blasting out of their headphones. Wonderful! Mama Photography captured the day beautifully through their lens, so all that is left is for you to dive into Ofir and Imri’s wedding day and get inspired.
