We were recently inspired by a great write up by Jessica and Erin at Two Wedding Belles regarding picking bridesmaids dresses that pack well for destination weddings. We thought it was a really fun and creative topic and so here are some more ideas and finds:
This silk chiffon dress from JCrew will snuggle easily in any suitcase and with a little airing out will be ready to wear.
The Crinkled Confection Dress from ModCloth is great because the fabric is already made to look a bit wrinkled. And its only $25!!!!
Another crinkled chiffon dress from Watters. We LOVE the white and yellow its perfect for a garden affair.
Brides always say “I picked these dresses so you can wear them again,” but really this dress from Nordstrom you really CAN wear again. So chic and can sit flat in the suitcase as if the 10 hour flight never happened.
For something sleek, try this machine washable Dorothy Perkins Champagne fitted wrap dress. Only $79!
Two Wedding Belles also had the idea of picking out separates. “You have much more flexibility in the outfit since you can mix and match skirts, blouses, sweaters, or belts, plus you’ll still have a well polished group of girls by your side. And the smaller items will be easier to pack and haul around than a dress would be, too” says Jessica. Here are some really cute examples of this idea.
