This DIY idea for us was love at first sight. Envelopes have always seemed to us like somewhat of a waste and these easy to make heart envelopes are not only super sweet, but also a great way to treat your invitations with some extra TLC.
– Heart Envelope template downloadable from here (this template is a bit small, if possible try to make it bigger or easily create your own)
– your pick of pretty stationary, size A4 or bigger
Once you have chosen your stationary, copy the outline of the heart from your template onto the sheet. We recommend doing it on the patterned side of the sheet to help you later with the folding. Use the pencil lightly so that there will not be visible marks later on.
Using a ruler, mark the inside lines of the templates.
Now its time to master your cutting skills.
Place the heart so that the white part of the sheet is facing you. Fold both sides of the heart inside according to the marking and use the ruler to make sure they are folded down to the max.
Place the heart so that the pointy part is facing up and fold the bottom part of the heart according to your template markings.
Now all you have to do is insert your invite, fold over the top part and seal the deal with a cute sticker or stamp.
