A delicate and simple wedding dress, a natural bouquet, a groom in a classic tux and bow tie and a photo shoot taken from a fairy tale – today’s couple arrived in a special delivery straight from the US to a Tel Aviv wedding filled with style and good taste.
Dylan and Tommy met at a New-York bar three years ago. Dylan, who grew up in South Carolina and moved to New York, spoke with her sister in Hebrew and turned Tommy’s attention. Jerusalem-born Tommy who moved to New York after the army could not ignore the pretty girl and jumped at the chance and asked her for a drink.
Six months later they moved in together and after a year they decided to move to Dylan’s hometown in South Carolina. Right before the move Tommy decided to surprise Dylan with a vacation to Mexico and on their first night there he popped the question.
They decided to get married in Israel, mainly because it was important for Tommy to have his family at the wedding. Last May, Dylan flew to Israel with her sister to look for a wedding venue and vendors. After two hectic weeks of searches she found “East” an event hall designed with an urban New-York chic.
That same simple atmosphere also took place at their wedding; clean and light from the wedding gown to the table design – it was all romantic and intimate. And we have the photos to prove it. Dylan and Tommy’s wedding embodies our blog’s beliefs – There is no need for bells and whistles to have a magical wedding.
The hair and makeup weren’t too made, the head bouquet enhanced Dylan’s natural look and added to her a princess like motive. The dress was light and not over decorated. A fairy tale wedding, nonchalant style!
