We first fell in love with charming Jenna and Ben in their engagement photos (see them here) and after seeing their wedding photos and hearing about their day, we love these two even more. Jenna and Ben recently got married in Tur Sinai Organic Farm, located on the outskirts of Jerusalem.
One of Jenna’s favorite moments of her wedding day was heading to The Kotel Tunnels before the wedding to pray. “We learn that the wedding day is unique in that the gates to the heaves are totally open for us on that day to pray for everything and anyone possible. To be connected to that energy while at such a holy site was truly meaningful and deeply personal for me.” The bedekin (when the bride and groom see each other again for the first time in days) was her other highlight. Their chupah, with a natural canopy of trees right overhead, was the culmination of everything they had been anticipating and was “moving beyond words.”
“Although my wedding day was far from ordinary or what I expected, it was pretty perfect. I’d dreamed of a rustic, DIY, wedding in a refurbished barn where people would be drinking out of bell jars and dancing to a live band in a field under the stars. Truth be told, what I did get as a wedding day was much better than I’d imagined.”
Jenna and Ben are now working on building their home together in Nachlaot, Jerusalem. Ben is studying to be a tour guide and Jenna teaches yoga. Take a look at their wedding day, beautifully captured through the lens of Sigala Photography. Mazal Tov Jenna and Ben!
