If your Pinterest board is packed with photos from summer weddings with laidback decorations and a breezy beachy atmosphere, Racheli and Guy’s wedding might just be what you’ve been searching for as inspiration for your Israeli wedding.
Their wedding took place on a sunny Friday afternoon at a cool and chic location right by the Mediterranean Sea. Intended for an intimate crowd of only close family and friends, Racheli and Guy (originally from New York) made sure to put their efforts in planning a budget friendly event that would still be fun and memorable for all the guests that made the trip to Israel especially for their wedding.
Preparations began early am due to the tight schedule of an afternoon wedding. Racheli was ready to go by 10:00 in the morning and set out with her friends for a photoshoot with her amazing photographer and My Day recommended vendor Sharon Kahane. Racheli took pictures with her sisters, friends, nieces, and mother. Guy slept at his friend’s house the night before the wedding and after a lazy and fun morning he went to pick Racheli up and then they were photographed around their most cherished Tel Aviv spots with their dog, later continuing the photoshoot near their wedding location, Babai Cliff in Jaffa.
Rachel’s advice for all you brides-to-be: “Take it easy! The wedding is a fun opportunity to make your dreams come true, but if something doesn’t work it isn’t the end of the world. You are surrounded with love and happiness on your wedding day so try to take that with you to continue your life. Try to focus on what is important to you and invest your time in family and friends.”
Thats some amazing advice from a bride that undeniably knows whats she’s talking about. Our favorite detail from the event (besides the great views of course); all the guests were offered yummy Magnum bars during the party to keep cool in the warm Jaffa sun. Yum!
