Today our post focuses on honeymoon hotels from around the world that we personally love. Whether on a secluded island or in an enchanting city, each of these selections offers the perfect start for your new life together as a married couple. Enjoy!
Santhiya Resort, Koh Phangan Thailand
While Israeli’s are no strangers to Thailand’s exotic beaches, fun atmosphere and ongoing party vibe, many of them decide to return to this Asian paradise for their honeymoon. Thailand’s islands offer many great choices for sleeping that run the full gamut of prices. But one of the many perks of this beautiful country (besides the tropical beaches, fantastic foods, fresh fruit shakes and lots of massages) is that you can find yourself sleeping at the most lavish resort you’ve ever been in for a quarter of the price that you would pay in other places. One of our favorite Thai resorts is the Santhiya on Thong Nai Pan beach. Thong Nai Pan is located in Koh Phan Gan island, the official host of the full moon party. The beach is a secluded hideaway 40 min from Haadrin, where the full moon party takes place. That way you can enjoy the best of both worlds. Located on a cliff overlooking Thon Nai Pan’s beautiful beach, the Santhya is an eco-friendly hideaway set against a backdrop of lush tropical forests, with a private beach, a gigantic free-form outdoor pool with cascading waterfalls, a beautiful spa for total tropical indulgence and gourmet Thai cuisine.
Overlooking the splendid Amalfi coastline, Sorrento is a small town in Southern Italy, near Naples and Pompey. The town is imbued with rustic charm and its location offers a a stunning panorama of the bay of Naples. It’s views, parks, groves and picturesque narrow streets have ensured a steady stream of visitors to the town throughout the year and over the centuries. Maison La Minervetta clings to the cliffs of Sorrento on the Amalfi coast with spectacular views of the Bay of Naples from the pool and sun terrace. All rooms are sea-facing with floor-to-ceiling windows to let in that swoon-inducing ocean panorama.
Be Tulum, Tulum Mexico
A paradisiacal stretch of sandy white beaches amidst the wild jungles of the Yucatan Peninsula in Mexico, Tulum is the antidote to the huge, all-inclusive hotels that line the north-east corner of Mexico’s Yucatan Peninsula. Tulum’s beaches are lined with many accommodation options, but we especially love the Be-Tulum resort. Be Tulum is made up of 20 exclusive suites surrounded by jungle, white sand, and the ocean. Built with native materials that blend into their surroundings, the resort’s spacious terraces and private pools will give you all the freedom and privacy you need on your honeymoon.
L’Oustau de Baumanière, Provence France
L’Oustau de Baumanière is located at the foot of Les Baux, a dramatic medieval town that built on a craggy hilltop. Set among the villages and vineyards of Provence, where Van Gogh and Cézanne found their inspiration, L’Oustau de Baumanière is famed for the French cuisine served at its onsite two Michelin star restaurant. Just 5 minutes’ walk from the beautiful village of Les Baux, the hotel also has stunning gardens of lavender, and roses with boxwood growing on the patios .The rooms of this boutique hotel are light and airy blending the hotel’s 17th-century origins and handmade furniture with modern-day extras. Staying here is a bit on the pricey side, but it undeniabley ensures a once in a lifetime experience.
