French décor coupled with antique elements and a roaring 20’s look are the perfect set for Shimka’s 2015 collection which maintains its timeless vintage magic with contemporary chic.
Shimka, an intimate bridal boutique located in the heart of Tel Aviv, offers a variety of vintage gowns that are tailored to fit all kinds of brides from a pregnant bride to a fashionable bride through a more traditional one who would like to have a modest look. Shimrit, the young head designer, has always been into collecting antique objects and over the years she created her own private world of wedding dresses from the knowledge and passion that she accumulated over the years.
In this collection, the designer once again, preserves the soft look by using pouring fabrics and soft designs which manage to flatter any body shape due to the precise cutting. This collection is all about adding that extra glam with beaded materials and rich fabrics in shades of cream and silver.
We particularity loved the two original ivory embroided velvet designs that are integrated with delicate French laces and although there is a usage of velvet, the designs maintain a breezy look and feel.
Shimka’s objective is to make the wedding gown search a smoother and easier journey when they provide already stitched gowns that are fully presented for the future brides, as it can sometimes be frustrating to go to many fittings and not knowing how the final product will look like.
The vintage scent in this shoot reminds us why we love it when a total look is created by so many beautiful details such as the perfect hairstyle, the proper hairpiece and the right mood.
All dresses are new and ready to wear and their prices range from NIS 5000 – NIS 7500
