Today we present to you an Israeli event with an Australian aroma that includes a wedding gown from our favorite designer in the whole wide world and most importantly – a design with a personal touch and unique gifts for the guests. All of these make Tammy and Alex’s wedding an inspiring event.
Tammy and Alex’s wedding preparations begin on the other side of the world in Australia. When the couple decided to get married, it was clear to both of them that they are going to do it in Israel. Most of Alex’s family lives there and the rest are scattered in the UK and Hungary, so Israel is the closest destination.
And even for the Aussies living in the land down under, the distant event is apparently not much of an issue since Australians, the couple told us, are used to travel long distances to meet their family and friends.
In order to help them prepare their wedding from the other side of the world, the couple contacted Imagine Events which designed the wedding and also connected the couple with various vendors in Israel. The chosen venue – Beit Andromeda in Jaffa: a small and intimate space with a romantic design with a gorgeous view to the sea. The couple wanted a color contrast to all the marvelous blue and added plenty of flowers of all shapes and colors. Absolutely delightful.
The seating arrangement cards were replaced by individual boxes that were in fact gifts for the guests. The names written on the boxes were made by calligrapher. Tammy and Alex had their dream wedding cake designed ahead, since it was as important to them as the other elements of the wedding.
They ordered chocolate panels from a chocolatier abroad, with elements that symbolize the course of both their lives as a couple. They ordered a cake in Israel and in a joint effort by the catering company and the wedding designer they attached the chocolate panels to the cake. It’s nice to know that there is a unique story behind all that sweetness.
For Tammy and Alex the most exciting moment on their wedding day was to enter the hall and see everything they had planned come to life with their friends and family from all over the world filling up the place with joy.
