We are always excited for our Real Wedding couples, but even more so when it comes to a wedding of a close friend of the blog. Yael, today’s featured bride, is part of the talented design duo Yael & Poli who did the art for our launch production a few months ago.
Yael not only has a great sense of style, but as you will see from her wedding day photos she also has a wonderful eye for decor and details. She met her husband Nimrod while they were both students at Jerusalem’s Bezalel academy, and the two tied the knot recently in a Friday afternoon backyard wedding in their Moshav “Karmei Yossef”.
Yael is a blogger herself, and started the fashion blog Espadrille 154 with her sister while the two were living in Paris. It’s no surprise then that her wedding dress was chosen of Tel Aviv’s fashion week’s runway during the show of designers “muslin brothers”. Yael tells us she spotted a beautiful mint skirt on the runway and knew that that would be the inspiration for her dress. She called the designers the next day and they set to work on what would be their first bridal gown design.
The entire decor for the wedding was done by Yael & Poli, who handmade signs, centerpieces and gift bags for the guests which had fresh challa bread inside for the shabbat. Female guests were also treated to beautiful parasols while male guests had colorful bowties waiting for them.
We love the intimacy of this wedding and that each picture is full of beautiful details. Yael and Nimrod, thank you for sharing your wonderful day with us!
