Remember how two years ago we first introduced you to cupcakes? Ever since they conquered the wedding scene, they carried a big presence on the dessert table. But with all due respect to cupcakes – a new dessert has recently caught our eyes (and hearts), we’re talking about the round sweet desert that is filled or glazed with perfection – the donut. So, if you want to indulge in a delicious treat that delights both you and your guests, it is time to recognize the donut for all of its glory.
Both the donut and the cupcake come from the USA, making for a delectable international sweet. Although it may not always captivate at first glance, when done right, it can be one of the most elegant, photogenic and delicious elements at the wedding (or at the bachelorette party).
