Racheli and Guy’s Wedding on The Cliff

Racheli and Guy's Wedding on The Cliff

Many couples dream of a summer wedding with beautiful decorations and a breezy atmosphere, but what components really go into a summer wedding?

A Friday afternoon at a cool and chic location right at the Mediterranean Sea- and that’s not even the best part!! All the guests were offered yummy Magnum bars to keep cool in the warm Jaffa sun!

Of course there were excellent vendors to help make everything about this wedding day perfect.  The wedding of Racheli and Guy offers great inspiration for anyone thinking about having a seaside wedding.

When Guy decided it was time to propose to Racheli, he secretly searched for the perfect ring around New York City.  Two weeks later they were married at City Hall in New York and promised their family and friends that when they return to Israel they would celebrate properly.  After a year and a half the promise they made was fulfilled.  They were married in front of all their relatives and loved ones who came from around the world to celebrate with them.

Racheli and Guy wanted to have a wedding by the sea, or at least have the sea in the background, and the Babai Cliff in Jaffa was perfect for them.  Babai is a restaurant in Jaffa located on a cliff overlooking the beautiful Mediterranean Sea.  The tall grass makes the located a lot more calm and peaceful, and is very beautiful for pictures.

The morning of the wedding started early because the wedding was on a Friday afternoon.  Racheli left for the photo shoot around 10:00 in the morning with her amazing photographer Sharon Kahane.  Racheli took pictures with her sisters, friends, nieces, and mother.  Guy slept at his friend’s house the night before the wedding.  He went to pick Racheli up and then they were photographed in their favorite little town with their dog.  After taking photos in that location, they took some near the Babai Cliff in Jaffa.

Rachel’s Advice: “Take it easy!  The wedding is a fun opportunity to make your dreams come true, but if something doesn’t work it isn’t the end of the world.  You are surrounded with love and happiness on your wedding day so try to take that with you to continue your life.  Try to focus on what is important to you and invent your time in family and friends.”
